  • How do I know what size nails I need?

You can click here to learn how to properly measure your nails. If you want to know for a fact what sizes you need and the measuring technique isn’t working for you (it’s ok, we got you) just purchase our Sample Sizing Pack to ensure they fit perfectly and then just email us your sizes. 

 

  • What nail glue do you recommend?

We recommend a professional nail glue which you can purchase with us. Click here.

 

  • How long do the nails stay on?

It honestly depends on how well you prep your natural nails before application, how rough you are on your hands and your choice of adhesive. With nail tabs you can wear them for a few days or even a few hours if you're wearing them for a special occasion. With nail glue, for about 1 to 3 weeks. We include detailed instructions with every order.

  • Can I reuse my Press Ons?

Yes, if you use the nail tabs, your press-ons will be reusable. Nail tabs can be purchased here.

For those that prefer nail glue, I would suggest purchasing an inexpensive electric nail file. It'll gently buff away any built up glue on the back of the nails and give you many more wears.

 

  • Can you replace a lost nail? 

Yes. Click here to order your replacement nail.

 

  • What if the nails I purchased don't fit?

All of our products are handmade, so if the wrong size is ordered we are not held responsible. Our sample sizing pack is for those that are unsure of their correct size along with our sizing guide that can be found here to measure for the proper fit. 

If the size is off on a nail or two, we suggest just filing it with the file in the kit we provide with each purchase or purchasing our option for a replacement nail.

 

  • How durable are the press ons?

Our press ons are very durable! Each set is cured with 5+ coats of gel. If you feel you are extremely hard on your nails and need EXTRA-EXTRA strength, you can request either a layer of hard gel which will make the nails hard but still flexible OR a thin layer of acrylic. Both are an extra cost but just let us know in the message section when you place your order. Also, note that if you get the layer of acrylic it does make the nail less flexible.

 

  • Do you offer custom designs?

Yep! We sure do! If you have a design or concept in mind you would like us to recreate like something you may have seen on social media, anywhere just let us know and we can combine ideas! 

Also, please note that not every idea you may have will fit our particular design style. So we may decline if its not something we cannot see ourselves doing. For recreations, we may ask if it’s alright to put our own twist on the designs. 

 

  • Can I make changes to a design?

Of course! All sets are made to order and can be customized. If you prefer a different color, matte or glossy finish, shorter length or small design changes, simply make a note in the special requests. For bigger changes that include adding on more or changing crystals please contact us first to approve changes or invoice you for a custom order. This however, does not apply to Ready to Ship nail sets, those are sold as is, length, shape and design.

 

  • How many nails come in each set?

All sets come with 10 nails in the size you select.  If you want extra nails just request replacement nails and how many you would like.

 

  • What comes with my nails?

All nail orders come with your custom press on nails, nail file, orange wood stick (cuticle pusher), mini buffer, glue, alcohol prep pad and application and removal instructions. If you would like to order adhesive tabs, we have those for purchase as well. We suggest trying both and seeing which method works best for you.

  • How long will it take to ship my order?

*Please note that shipping times do not include CREATION time, we ship your order after it’s been created.

USPS-Priority Mail: 1-3 Business Days

Due to COVID-19 and the high volume of orders, our current turnaround time is about 6+ weeks. THIS IS JUST AN ESTIMATE. We cannot guarantee that your order will be shipped within this time frame. They may be shipped sooner but can certainly take longer.
This is due to the turnaround with supplies being in such demand everywhere, and also post offices and their procedures with COVID-19. If you are purchasing more than one set please understand your order will take longer to complete. Also keep in mind, that all sets are made to order and worked on, in the order they were received.
Every single set of our nails, packing, shipping, etc are handcrafted and done solely by Celeste Hampton. Meaning this is a ONE woman band lol We truly appreciate your business and thank you for your patience as we make your very personalized order :) We promise you’ll LOVE them!

  • My package was sent back to you, can you resend it?

Yes of course. Simply contact us to make sure we have received it and then pay the re-Shipping Fee and we will send it back out to you.

 

  • My package was marked as Delivered by USPS but I didn’t receive it.  (Also read below for lost or missing packages)

Once a package has been picked up by USPS and the tracking number associated to the order has been updated, Designs by Celestialnails hands over ANY and ALL accountability for shipping, transit and delivery to USPS. Designs by Celestialnails assumes no responsibility for lost or missing packages and are not required to issue refunds or replacements on these orders.

If your order was marked as “delivered” by USPS and it’s missing; check with your neighbors in case the package was delivered to the wrong address by mistake or contact your local post office. You may also file a claim directly with USPS at http://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm

  

  • Do you accept cancellations, returns or exchanges?

We gladly accept cancellations within 24 hours of purchase. After the 24 hours ALL SALES ARE FINAL which means you fully agree to wait on the time it takes to create your order.  No Refunds will be processed after the 24 hour purchase.

Also due to the nature of our custom handmade products we do not accept returns or make any exchanges (except in the case of products delivered in defective or damaged state.  If so, email celestialnails@ymail.com and include an image of the defected or damaged product).

Also, please double check shipping information before checking out. If there’s an apartment, suite or unit number make sure you enter it to avoid a Return To Sender issue.
